Dunmore East Project Resurfacing

The issue I raised in my final year design project last year is starting to really become noticed as a serious issue in the marine community.

The link of the recent article in Afloat.ie can be found here: http://afloat.ie/blogs/sailing-saturday-with-wm-nixon/item/21423-could-dunmore-easts-development-be-key-to-irelands-cruising-success

Some of the images of the project are posted in earlier pages in this blog: http://colfer-architecture.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/final-major-project-free-range-expo.html

Good one to have the Afloat article back up the argument for better use of the harbour area and the need for facilities in the South East. I was over at Hook Head taking photos yesterday and met the local diving club who were out in force collecting plastic by the van load - They were appalled at what they were collecting. I directed them to you blog so as they could check out the global disaster of accumulations of deadly plastic in our oceans.
